A meeting with representatives of the US Central Authority, the US Department of Justice, was held at the Office of the Prosecutor Generals’ Office, for bilateral consultations on international judicial cooperation in criminal matters.

During the meeting, the topics of judicial cooperation versus police cooperation, the de minimis rule and expedited procedures on cybercrime investigations were addressed in order to speed up and make more effective the execution of requests for mutual legal assistance to the US authorities.
