First Meeting of the Cyber South Judicial Network

It will take place today and tomorrow at the Prosecutor General's Office the first meeting of the Cyber ​​South Judicial Network. It is an international network of prosecutors specialised in cybercrime of the Mediterranean region.
The meeting came from an initiative of the Council of Europe and has the support of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Portugal, benefiting from the experience of the Portuguese Public Prosecution Service in coordinating, for years, other networks specialized in this area - namely CiberRede (which includes specialised prosecutors from Ibero-America) and the Forum Cibercrime (which gathers representatives of the Public Prosecution Services of all the Portuguese speaking countries).

With this first meeting, the intention is to launch the activity of the Cyber ​​South Judicial Network, identifying its concrete purposes and mission, as well as defining the strategic objectives for the next three years. The founding members of the network are Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia, as well as Portugal.
